RIDS offers two types of training course:
TATC Training:
A basic and advanced Technical Attack Training Course(TATC) for approved military law enforcement agencies. Each course is residential and lasts five days
The TATC training course is a ground-up approach to technical attack training comprising a series of interlinked technical and operational exercises that takes students through from the planning, operational, management and recovery stages of a technical attack operation
RIDS uses state of the art technical attack equipment manufactured by one of the UK's leading equipment suppliers during the training. The TATC course is a 'hands on' course
TSCM Training:
A three or five day residential training course (depending on requirements).
Includes following topics:
- The history of technical attack
- Technical attack operations (how they are planned)
- Signs of technical attack
- TSCM equipment familiarisation
- TSCM and the customer
- Planning a TSCM survey
- Survey exercises
- TSCM Consultancy – protecting the client
